Lady Cards win four in a row

Allie Dahl joined Addison Yates with 20+ points Friday night versus Jefferson, scoring 22 of her own. The pair combined for 49 of the Cardinals 55 points in the victory.

After a rocky start to the 2023-2024 girls’ basketball season, the Brodhead Cardinals have hit their stride. After a pair of victories over East Troy and Jefferson last week, the Cards extended their most recent win streak to four games.

The run goes even further back than that, however. After a 3-5 start to the season, the Cards went 9-1 over their next ten games. Not only did the Cards have two different win streaks, but they turned their season around as they improved their record to 12-6. Perhaps more importantly, the Cards have climbed the Rock Valley Conference standings. They improved in both categories with their two victories, last week.
