Lane Garwell, 72, of Edgerton, WI passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Froedert Medical College, Milwaukee. Lane was born on September 26, 1951 in Green County to the late Frank and Catherine (Douglas) Garwell. He graduated from Brodhead High School in 1969 and attended UW Rock County to pursue his love of music. He then worked many years at Dorsey Trailers before attending Blackhawk Technical College and received an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Lane loved all sports, especially the Packers, taking motorcycle rides, music and taking walks at Riverside Park and being in the elements. Lane is survived by his daughter: Jessica (Brian) Krieg of Edgerton and their children, Dominic and Ava; and a son: Rich (Tami) Garwell of Beloit. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Edgerton from 5 PM to 7 PM.
