Brodhead, WI – Larry Jerome Booher, age 76 passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2024 while at the Monroe Hospital in Monroe, WI.

Larry was born on November 28, 1946 in Hillsboro, WI the son of Jerome and Goldie (Jones) Booher.

He married his first wife Kathy Trappe, his second wife, Stacy Reichhoff and on February 7, 2017 his current wife, Alice Denz.

Larry worked for over 35 years before his retirement from GM.  He enjoyed collecting John Deere collectibles, going to garage sales, watching cowboy movies and wrestling and going fishing. Larry served his country in the US Army during Vietnam and received a Purple Heart for his services.

Larry is survived by his wife, Alice; four children, Crystal Loesch (John Busby), Angela (Chris) Cannon, Amber (Shaun) Jorgensen and Kyle Booher (Lacey Dickman); one stepson, Mike (Tracey) Geddes;     7 grandchildren and one great grandchildren.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Delores Booher and Doris Wong.

A visitation will be held at the DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  Cremation rites will be accorded after services and his cremated remains will be buried at a later date at the Viola Cemetery in Viola.
