Lester M. Watson, 94

SHERMAN, TX – Lester M. Watson, Jr., 94, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, TX.

He was born May 7, 1920, on the family dairy farm in Dilliner, Pa. Les married Barbara Castle on Oct. 18, 1947. She died Sept. 2, 1999.

He is survived by three sons: Mike (Sandy) Watson, Taylorville, Ill.; Steve (Lea) Watson, Brodhead; and Dan (Jo Ann) Watson, Sherman, TX; youngest brother, Bruce (Peg) Watson, Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Barb; an infant son, Douglas; his parents; two sisters and six brothers.

A life celebration for Les, to be held by close family and friends, has yet to be determined.
