March is Music in our Schools Month

Middle School band students participated in a combined Pep Band at a recent basketball game. The performance was one of many enrichment programs the Brodhead music department puts on.

For more than 30 years, March has been officially designated by the National Association for Music Education for the observance of Music In Our Schools Month.

The purpose of MIOSM is to raise awareness of the importance of music education for all children – and to remind citizens that school is where all children should have access to music.

The Brodhead Music Boosters is sending a big community thank you to music teachers in the Brodhead School District, and all schools, for the hard and amazing work they do with students to bring them music as well as to all the communities.
