MARLENE K. JOHNSON

Marlene K. Johnson, age 90 of Brodhead, died January 1, 2024 at Lillac Springs Assisted Living in Lake Mills. She was born on August 8, 1933, the daughter of William and Gunda (Westby) Klutterman. She grew up in Evansville and attended school there. Marlene married Gerald W. Johnson on August 21, 1999 in Brodhead. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Rev. Martin (Marie) Roeben of Valley Springs, CA, Mark (Lynn) Roeben of Edgerton, WI, Colleen (Jeff) Bronkhorst of Waterloo, WI, and Tim Roeben of Evansville, WI; grandchildren: Martin Roeben, Austin Roeben, Ashley (Chris) Buell, Quin (Jana) Roeben, and Rebecca Dimond; great-grandchildren: Beckett, Collin, Avery, Skylar, Gaven, and Dominick. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at EVERSON Funeral Home with Reverend Tiff Bates officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. A visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Lillac Springs Assisted Living in Marlene’s name, or a memorial of your choice.
