Marcus McIntyre was the only Brodhead-Juda wrestler to reach the 2022 Individual Wisconsin State Wrestling Tournament.

McIntyre posted a 30-3 record on the season as one of the best wrestlers Brodhead-Juda had to offer.

After beating Tanner Paulson of Belmont-Platteville in the Division two Sectional round in Richland Center, McIntyre propelled himself into the state tournament.

Competing in the 138-pound bracket, McIntyre was able to bypass the first round with a bye.

While the bye can be a benefit, Brodhead-Juda Head Coach Chris Hoesly explained how that isn’t always the case.
