MERLYN G. NENNEMAN

Brodhead, WI – Merlyn G. Nenneman, age 84, passed away on November 8, 2023 at the Albany Oak Assisted Living facility in Albany, WI.

Merlyn was born on July 21, 1939 to Jay and Wilma (Haman) Nenneman at home. He graduated from Juda High School in 1957 and was active in sports. Merlyn spent 3 years in the Army, part of it in Germany.

When Merlyn returned home from his service, he farmed. When he retired from farming, he worked part time at Swiss Colony in Monroe and Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe.

He faithfully attended services and Sunday school at the Brodhead United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his three children, Merritt, Melvin and Mildred; a brother, Ronald (Janet) Nenneman; 3 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents and one brother at birth, Daniel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family on his behalf.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of his care takers at the Albany Oaks Assisted Living facility and the staff from Monroe SSM Hospice Care team.

Funeral services will be held at the DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM. A visitation will also be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral services. Burial will conclude at the Greenwood Cemetery in Brodhead.
