Twenty fine minds from Brodhead Middle School faced off in a friendly spelling bee that called for eight rounds to decipher a winner.

Over the course of the past week, all ten English classes held private competitions in order to name two representatives to compete in the Wednesday, Feb. 8 event in the school library. Principal Lisa Semrow, along with Mr. Shane Miller and Mrs. Erin Kammerer presided as judges.
