Patricia Ann Scott Nicholas

Rock City, Ill. – Patricia Ann Scott Nicholas, 74, passed away on Sept. 29, 2022.

She was born on Jan. 7, 1948, in Grinnell, Iowa, the daughter of Delmar and Maxine (Bope) Scott.

She was a graduate of HLV High School. She worked as an American Airlines flight attendant for more than 40 years.

She is survived by her four children, Sarah (Lee) Price, Michael (Daniela) Nicholas, Scott (Hannah) Nicholas and Claire Nicholas (Chris); four grandchildren, Reese, Eliza, Birdie, and Everett; two sisters, Marilyn (Allen) Read and Diane Harden; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmar and Maxine; her step father, Merle Craig; and a sister, Jane Craig.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family in her memory.

A memorial visitation will be held at the DL Newcomer Funeral home today in Brodhead on Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 4 to 7 p.m.  A memorial service will also be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m. with an additional hour of visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will take place at a later date at Union Cemetery in Hartwick, Iowa.
