Raymond J. Mason Sr., 75, of Janesville, WI, was reunited with the love of his life, Leila Mason, and their beloved rottweiler Sammie on the morning of October 16th, 2024. He passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

Ray was born in Beloit, WI, on January 29th, 1949. He had the soul of a gypsy and used the CB handle of the Gypsy King during his years as a truck driver. He was an avid camper and enjoyed traveling to Arizona during Wisconsin winters with his wife Leila. They explored various parts of Arizona, where Ray loved to share his adventures while panning for gold and making new friends wherever he went. He will be remembered as the sassy Old Fart who loved to stick out his tongue and make faces at whoever was talking to him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leila, his parents, Harry and Francis Mason, his brother, William Mason, and his sister, Linda Lashley. He is survived by his children, Raymond (Mitzi) Mason Jr., Cimmberly (Tyrone) Dunn, and Lonnie (Eva) Mason, as well as several grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A party in his honor will be held at a later date.
