The Clinton Community District School Board met at the Clinton High School on Monday, Feb. 6, 6:30 p.m. Board Members present were: Gary Gilbank, Jill Gunderson, Ken Luety, Melissa Manthei, and Evelyn Propp. Tom Howard was absent. Dustin Esselman has resigned because he moved outside the district.
Administrator Jim Brewer, Business Manager Dan McCrea, Laura Lynd, Nichole Erickson, Julie Cornelius, Jeff Spi-wak, Sally Barrington, Matt Huettl, Tim Thieding, Ben Brueggen, and building principals were present. About 17 educators and citizens attended.
After regular opening procedures, President Ken Luety presented the employee of the month certificate to Emily Flemming. Hires included: Long Term Sub Special Education Brianna White, CHS Assistant Basketball Coach Jordan Cernek, CHS Assistant Soccer Coach and one resignation: JV Basketball Coach Mitchell Cernek.
The board approved CHS Honors Band Trip with five students going overnight to UW Platteville and the CHS Florida Band Trip (since 1985) as presented by Ben Brueggen.
