School district phasing in new mask policy

Brodhead schools’ mask policy changed last week for extra-curricular activities and events, but the change for normal school hours is delayed until 2022.

The Brodhead School Board voted Dec. 8 to change from “masks required” to “masks highly recommended” for holiday concerts, sporting events, and activities after the school day.

It voted to keep the mask requirement in its elementary, middle and high school until after the holiday break.
