The Brodhead-Juda varsity football program was once known for its long-running postseason record. The Cardinals held a state record for appearing in the high school football playoffs for 25 consecutive years.

That streak came to an end in 2017, however, and head coach Jim Matthys and the Cards have been working on returning to their successful ways ever since. Although, the playoff streak came to an end in 2017, the last Brodhead-Juda postseason victory came all the way back on Oct. 24, 2014.
