SHIRLEY ANN GRAY

Shirley Ann Gray, age 83, died Dec.15, 2021 in South Beloit, Illinois.

She was born on Nov. 2, 1938 in Avon, Wisconsin to the late Thomas and Ellen (Hawkins) Jackson.

She enjoyed playing Bingo in Grinnell Hall and playing cards with her friends at her apartment community room.

She is survived by her three children, Douglas Gray, Wanda (Jeff) Kath and Randall Gray; eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; two sisters, Hilda Smith and Nancy Zwieg and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was further preceded in death by three children, Dallas, Dennis and Daniel Gray; three brothers, Merle, John and Rodney Jackson and two sisters, Mary Schmid and Wilma Pautsch.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family in Shirley’s memory.

A celebration of life will be held at the DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021 from noon to 2 p.m.

Burial of her cremated remains will conclude at the Avon Township cemetery following the gathering period.
