Students take to the track in annual Track and Field Day

BRODHEAD — Albrecht elementary students in grades three through five participated in the annual Track and Field Day last Friday, May 6. All events took place at the high school’s Gary Larson field.

Students wore T-shirts whose colors indicated the students’ classes. Throughout the day, students earned points toward their class total. The class with the highest points was crowned the winner.

Each year, the event takes on a theme. This year’s theme was “May the Fun be with You,” a play on a Star Wars theme.  Pick up this week’s print edition for full story……
