Five seventh-grade students joined teacher Stephanie Tresemer and principal Lisa Semrow for a presentation to the school board last week. The group presented on an enrichment program called TECS (technology, engineering, creativity, and students), which takes place once a week.

Staff members at the middle school use student scores from MAPS testing to address various needs. Those who score below 20% on these tests are placed in appropriate interventions.
