Underclassmen compete in Evansville invitational

EVANSVILLE — The boys’ track and field team took fourth with 61 points, and the girls’ squad placed sixth with 54 points at the Evansville Freshmen and Sophomore Invitational last Thursday.

In the boys’ 1600-meter run, Holden Whitledge took the title in a time of 4:59.70.

The Cardinals took the 4×100-meter relay crown in a time of 47.87 seconds. The members of the winning relay team included Theodore Policastro, Jeremiah Darwin, Brekkan Day, and Jeffery Williams.  Pick up this week’s print edition for full story…….
