Water Study results unveiled Uncertainty swirls around what to do with results

A long-awaited study of the county’s susceptibility to groundwater pollution has yielded results, but officials say it is too early to know what to make of them.
TRC Environmental Corporation, from Madison, Wis., presented their findings last Tuesday at the Justice Center in Monroe, Wis. The study provided an in-depth map of bedrock geology and depth to bedrock, mapped the water table, modeled groundwater recharge tendencies and mapped groundwater susceptibility to contamination across the county.
