Youth Service Day 2016 biggest ever

A group of middle schoolers is eager to get to work.

BRODHEAD — Over 130 volunteers showed up for the 2016 spring Youth Service Day on Saturday, April 16.
This annual event, organized by educator Stephanie Tresemer of Brodhead Middle School, does so much good in just two hours.
Not only students, but their parents, grandparents, friends, and siblings, are invited to do good work for the benefit of others.
Refreshments, including water, juice, milk, and snacks, are donated for the workers by generous businesses and individuals….pick up this week’s print edition for full story.
